Hadhramout… foil the planting of explosive devices on the international road leading to the port of Al-Wadiah

The Homeland Shield Forces announced, Friday, December 19, 2025, that they had foiled an attempt to plant explosive devices on the Ma’rib-Al-Abr-Al-Wadiah line, in the Hadramawt governorate, in eastern Yemen, as part of a security operation that they described as “preventive”.

The National Shield Forces Media Center said that military inspection and engineering teams carried out a qualitative security operation that resulted in the discovery and removal of explosive devices placed in one of the vital sections of the international road connecting Marib, Al-Abr and Al-Wadiah.

She affirmed her commitment to securing the international road, stressing that she works with high coordination and constant vigilance, and continues to carry out her tasks in accordance with her national responsibilities, so as to ensure the continuity of safe traffic and the protection of public interests, as indicated by the media library.
